     AOL uses compressed graphics to speed up their delivery of webpage to its members. The disadvantage, it makes images and text appear blurry. When AOL is loaded "compressing files" is set standard but can be changed.

How do I make my AOL browser not compress images?
     While Already on the internet using AOL, click on SETTINGS at the top of the page, then click on PREFERENCES. You should then see a link to INTERNET PROPERTIES (WWW) click this. You will then see a Internet Options window appear. Click on WEB GRAPHICS then click on NEVER COMPRESS GRPAHICS. Press APPLY button and then OK and your AOL setting have been changed to view all pictures the way all web sites creators have intended their sites to be seen.
